Peter joined the project during the design phase with no project management products or controls in place. To maintain project momentum and timescale expectations, he successfully engaged the external governance body; EDS StaT-Ri. He produced and maintained a detailed project plan, a comprehensive risk register and management plan and made recommendations to senior management for the collection of financial data to support the provision of sustainable metrics. The project passed its critical design phase in November 2008, development has been completed and the user acceptance phase is underway with no major issues flagged. Peter is a diligent, thorough and resilient project manager and was rewarded with 3 contract extensions.

As well as delivering to a very tight schedule, Peter has introduced a number of processes and procedures to improve the quality of BT’s deliverables. Peter is a professional project manager that just gets on with it.
Peter’s in-depth knowledge and experience of project management has enabled him to quickly make a big impact on the SCRO delivery programme. When Peter joined the programme it was in a transition period and there was a lack of standards as well as control. In a very short time he has managed to turn this around and instill a culture that focuses on the quality of service both internally within the programme team and externally to the customer. Due to the very impressive impact that Peter has had on the programme his role on the project has increased from delivery manager to also encompass service management.
